White Chemical White Sorb is a scientifically manufactured fertilizer designed to micro-encapsulate hydrocarbons.  It is insoluble in water and will float on top of water without sinking even after it is completely saturated with oil.  It is an all natural 100% biodegradable absorbent that is completely safe to use.  It is scientificall designed to stimulate the natural biodegradation of the oil it encapsulates.  White Sorb is an exceptional product for fast reduction of TPH levels, where compliance is required.

White Sorb granulate can be applied manually by pouring directly onto the spilled liquid or in some cases by using a blower system to force White Sorb into areas not accessible to direct pouring, like ponds, streams, and lakes.  White Sorb socks, booms, and pads are applied directly to spilled liquids for immediate absorption or can be used as a preventive measure in areas where spills are likely to occur, for example, under load valves and around equipment that continually leaks.
